Caroline Brown

RVN DAVN (Surgical)
Cat Advocate
I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1982, we were known as Registered Animal Nursing Auxiliary’s in those days.
In 1992 I was one of the first nurses to gain the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (surgical). I was a head nurse in a busy small animal practice in London for many years but after starting a family I moved to Berkshire and a part time position at Moor Cottage. I have been here since 1998.
At present I take care of the day to day running of our new cat clinic and am the feline advocate for the practice. I am also a clinical coach for our student veterinary nurses, guiding them through the practical skills required for their training.
My pets are three tortoises, a horse and two kittens which I hand reared last year.
