We ran a competition for pupils at nearby Binfield Primary School to draw a picture of their favourite cat, with the three winners invited to cut the ribbon at the launch of the clinic earlier this month.<\/p>\n
The grand opening proved to be a purr-fect day of celebrations and the school was given \u00a3100 worth of book vouchers as a thank-you for taking part.
\nExtensive renovations have taken place at the Binfield hospital to create a dedicated \u2018cat-only\u2019 treatment centre.<\/p>\n
Moor Cottage is approved as a gold standard cat-friendly clinic by the prestigious International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM), which recognises best practice in caring for cats.<\/p>\n
Our clinical director Roberta Duncan said: \u201cIt was a terrific day and we\u2019re very grateful to the children for helping with the launch.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very much a community-focused vets, so it was lovely to welcome the children, their families and members of the public to give them a behind-the-scenes look at the centre.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have invested a lot of time and money to provide first-class facilities and equipment which is focused on feline care and treatment.<\/p>\n
