Moor Cottage VIP Club
This Plan is designed to help spread the cost of your pet’s routine preventative healthcare over a 12 month period. The Plan covers vaccination, worming and flea treatment and offers substantial discounts on a range of services. Please ask a member of staff for details.

Pet health insurance
Moor Cottage Veterinary Practice strongly recommends pet insurance to protect against the unexpected fees incurred following illness or accident. It is your responsibility to settle your account with us and then reclaim the fees from your insurance company. If you need to make a claim, please request a claim form from your insurance company, complete the owner section and then submit to us for completion. We do not charge for this service. NB please allow 7 days for us to complete your form.
All fees are subject to VAT at the current rate. Our fees reflect the time spent on a case, the equipment involved along with the drugs, materials and consumables used. We invest in our staff and their development, ensuring that we have a good staff to patient ratio of suitably qualified professionals dedicated to the care of your pet. Further investment is regularly made in our equipment and facilities so that we can treat the majority of patients here at Moor Cottage without the need to refer you further away. Detailed invoices are offered for every consultation, procedure or transaction. Further details of our fees are available on request.
Estimates of treatment costs
We can provide a written estimate of cost for all procedures and treatments. These estimates are only a guideline but we aim to keep you informed of any change to the estimated fee.
Methods of payment
We require payment at the time of treatment. We do not run a credit system. Your account may be settled using: cash, credit /debit card – Maestro, Electron, Delta, Visa Debit, Mastercard or Visa. We do not accept American Express. If for any reason you are unable to settle your account as specified above, we ask you to discuss this matter with a member of staff as soon as possible and preferably before treatment starts.
We do not run an account system and settlement is due at the time of treatment either by cash or card. Failure to settle an account within 7 days may result in it
being referred to our debt collection agency or county courts. Any outstanding account will incur further charges.

Clinical records and Data Protection
Case records and similar documents are the property of and will be retained by Moor Cottage Veterinary Practice. We are happy to provide you with a copy of your pet’s records on request. Moor Cottage Veterinary Practice complies with the Data Protection Act and will not release client data unless directly requested by the client.
Please note that our calls both incoming and outgoing are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
Variation in Terms & Conditions of Business
No addition or variation of these conditions will bind the Practice unless specifically agreed in writing by the management of Moor Cottage Veterinary Practice. Additionally, no agent or person employed by or under contract with the hospital has the authority to alter or vary these terms and conditions in any way.
